Terms of Service

The terms for using TrustLens image trust analysis.

Last updated: April 23, 2026

Service Purpose

TrustLens provides image trust analysis based on available provenance, metadata, watermark, and visual signals. The service is intended to support decision-making, not to replace independent verification.

No Definitive Proof

TrustLens results are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. The service does not provide legal, forensic, journalistic, or evidentiary conclusions.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to upload images for analysis. Users must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, abusive, or unauthorized content.

Use of Results

Users should not rely on TrustLens as the sole basis for important decisions. High-impact uses, including legal evidence, news reporting, public accusations, or safety decisions, require independent source verification.

Service Availability

TrustLens may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. The service may also fail due to technical limitations, third-party dependencies, or infrastructure issues.

Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustLens is not responsible for decisions, losses, claims, or damages arising from use of the service or reliance on analysis results.
